Northern Ireland Open: Draw, schedule, results & odds

The inaugural Coral Northern Ireland Open was snooker's ninth ranking event of the season and second of the new Home Nations series, following the English Open which was won by China's Liang Wenbo last month.

The Chinese player's maiden world ranking title meant he headed into this tournament, which took place at Belfast's Titanic Exhibition Centre from November 14 to 20, as the only player left in contention for the £1million bonus on offer for winning all four Home Nations events.

Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ding Junhui, John Higgins and home favourite Mark Allen were among the star names in a 128-player field bidding to get their hands on the Alex Higgins trophy - but Mark Selby, Judd Trump and Ali Carter were not be competing here.

Northern Ireland Open: Sky Bet Odds

Fresh from reaching the Champion of Champions final, Ronnie O'Sullivan is the 7/2 favourite to win his first tournament of the season by claiming the inaugural Northern Ireland Open titlle.

John Higgins, who beat O'Sullivan at the Champion of Champions a week after winning the China Championship, is next in the running at 7/1 while Ding Junhui (8/1), Shaun Murphy (12/1) and Mark Allen (12/1) are also considered major contenders.

Mark Selby and Judd Trump are not competing in this event.
