Verdict

BROAD APPEAL drew a blank last season, but his record when fresh augurs well and this is a lower-grade handicap than those he typically contests. Jonathan Portman's charge is taken to resume winning ways, perhaps at the chief expense of London, who finished with running left over 1¼m here last month and this step back up in trip looks a good move. Scarborough Castle and Miss Sligo both enter calculations, too.

  1. BROAD APPEAL
  2. LONDON (GER)
  3. SCARBOROUGH CASTLE
