Forecasts

Mr Excellency (6/5), Bearaway (5/2), Mount Mayon (7/2), Ron O (11/2), Floating Rock (8/1), Asamosa (9/1), Prince Ali (28/1), Joeljalu (33/1), Jenson Benson (50/1), Bullet Tooth Tony (100/1), Strong Team (200/1), Pride Day (200/1)

Verdict

MR EXCELLENCY defied greenness to make a winning start over 7f here in October and is sure to progress. He's preferred to Ron O, who left his debut well behind when runner-up at Redcar in the autumn. Fairly-useful hurdler Floating Rock wasn't seen to anything like best effect on his Flat debut at Newcastle and can leave that effort well behind in due course.

  1. MR EXCELLENCY (IRE)
  2. RON O
  3. FLOATING ROCK (GER)
