Verdict

Impressive point winner GRANDADS COTTAGE looked a shade unlucky when just touched off in a Stratford bumper on his second run under Rules. He brings plenty of potential to the table now upped in trip for this hurdles debut and should prove hard to beat. O'Hanrahan Bridge is the clear main danger, though confidence behind Gaston Phebus in the betting would be worthy of note.
