Great Colaci (9/4), Lagenda (9/2), Carlovian (9/2), Swinging Eddie (13/2), Jessie Allan (10/1), Chaplin Bay (11/1), Lucky Violet (14/1), Roaring Forties (18/1), Colour Contrast (22/1), We've Got The Love (50/1)

Verdict
With plenty that like to come from off the pace in this there could be another chance for Carlovian to make all again although he encounters a better surface and a furlong longer trip this time up to his highest winning mark. Given those circumstances GREAT COLACI shades the decision despite coming second to Moretti who was narrowly beaten by Carlovian on her previous start. Trained by Gillian Boanas the 7yo looks in decent form currently and this isn’t a strong heat. Lagenda would need to return to his best form to win this but he has a shot at the places along with Chaplin Bay who may need a stronger pace than he’s likely to get here to show his true worth.
  1. Great Colaci
  2. Carlovian
  3. Lagenda
