Verdict

James Tate won this two years ago and has another likely sort in the shape of DREAM SHOT who did well last year and should be spot on after a promising return last week at Newcastle. There isn't much to choose between Orlaith and Al Raya, first and second at Newbury last August in a Listed event, while Godolphin's Lazuli appears to have benefitted from a winter wind operation on the evidence of his good second at HQ last week. Sunday Sovereign makes his debut for Roger Varian having been sent off favoruite for the Norfolk Stakes on his last start. If back to his best he rates a big danger.
  1. Dream Shot
  2. Sunday Sovereign
  3. Lazuli
