Verdict

Five of the nine-strong field that are scheduled to go to post are from Ireland and it won’t be a surprise to see a 1-2-3 from them. Approve The Move could well move forward from his first effort given that his trainer (Gordon Elliott) won this event last year while Arakan Quest has run two creditable races under Rules without setting a top-class standard, his stablemate Duty Calls also showed that he had some modest ability on his Rules debut. OUT BY SIX is an intriguing debutant from a yard with a good record with their bumper runners not only in GB but here at Perth. Brian Hughes has a 5-21 when teaming up with the trainer in bumpers and he’s taken to make a winning debut.
  1. Out By Six
  2. Approve The Move
  3. Arakan Quest
