APLOMB has won twice over this distance and performed well last time in a class 2 contest where he was in contention in a big runner field. This looks a good opportunity for him to score once again. Lincoln Park led for the majority of the race on his previous outing before being collared in the closing stages. He is likely to set the pace again here which will see him go close, while Wise Counsel can reach the frame over a distance which is probably his best as he looks to follow up his recent success at Sandown.
