Blue Templar (1/1), Toosey (11/2), Shanklys Dawn (7/1), Canadian Steel (8/1), Maureen's Star (9/1), Tinnehinch (14/1), Sir Ector (16/1), Mr Bolt (25/1)

Verdict

BLUE TEMPLAR is hard to ignore judged on his efforts over the Punchestown banks which mean he looks thrown in off today's mark. Previous efforts under rules question his effectiveness over regular obstacles, but it may be that he is a more mature individual nowadays. Shanklys Dawn knows her way around here and bounced back to form with a gutsy win at Wexford and she looks the main threat judged on that. Canadian Steel ran well here two weeks ago, whilst Toosey cannot be classed as well-handicapped but still has more going for him than many of the others.
  1. Blue Templar
  2. Shanklys Dawn
  3. Canadian Steel
