A fascinating and above average renewal of this race can go the way of the Ballydoyle raider CAPE OF GOOD HOPE who finished ahead of Arthur Kitt, one of his main rivals as a two-year-old. His pedigree suggests he will come into his own over middle distances this year and he can announce himself a Derby contender by winning. Tom Dascombe is a superstar away from getting into the big time and he will hope Arthur Kitt can become one, he rates the biggest danger. Turgenev represents the Gosden/Dettori combination who have farmed this race in recent years and one suspects we are yet to see the best of him.
