Verdict

Connections found the key to Shanroe Tic Tec last week and will be hoping he can strike again in similar company under a penalty which leaves him 1lb below his revised mark. This looks easier but DERRYNANE looks more tempting for a race that should be set up nicely for him. The McCain runner is at his best when fresh and likes to be delivered late off a strong pace. Ground conditions should be soft enough and his rider is very good. Zante has gone close in this before under today's rider, but his last two runs make him hard to fancy.Gin And Tonic is consistent enough at this level but he does not appeal as being as well-handicapped as some.
  1. Derrynane
  2. Shanroe Tic Tec
  3. Gin And Tonic
