Verdict

Strong on numbers, but lacking in quality would be an accurate description of this divided 1m handicap. Finding the winner isn't easy given the largely inconsistent (or even the lack of) form on offer. C&D winner Coachella is a possible with the excellent Silvestre De Sousa booked, while a pair of unexposed three-year-old's also merit respect. Unbridled Spirit has undertaken much of his racing on softer surfaces, but wasn't beaten too far at Chepstow (1m2f) latest. However, the Ian Williams-trained FERRIER is preferred. Formerly with Sir Mark Prescott, he has previous Bath experience, and was taken out of a race at Newcastle on Friday Evening.
  1. Ferrier
  2. Coachella
  3. Edge
