New To Town sets a strong standard but she is starting to look one paced and there may be enough untapped potential to see her losing run extended. Vivianite was well-supported ahead of her debut and it will be interesting to see how the market assesses her chance this time. Balydoyle have a 2-3 success rate in this so Fire Opal cannot be written off despite an inauspicious debut. SHELANNGA is bred to come into her own at this trip. Dermot Weld's filly was noted putting in good late work to pull away from the third on her return over 6f and she would not need to improve by much to land this.
