Verdict

This should be between Savoy Court and GRANARD. Under a penalty the former is respected on his return from handicap company, but he was pulled-up last time and preference therefore is for Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge. He ran a pleasing enough race when third in a bumper from January, and with the step up in trip certainly encouraging he looks one to side with on his hurdling debut. Big Fred is likely to be a distant third.
