Verdict

Not a particularly deep event to open a good card with most if not all the field destined for handicaps in the future some over further. Boogie Life looked to be getting the hang of things last time but she does jump right and may be better going the other way around. Hermanus is on debut for the Ewart barn but she needs to settle better to be seen at her best with Miss Tiggy needing to show far more after a poor effort last time. Speedbird One may prove best of the outsiders but this looks best left to Sedgefield bumper winner COCKLEY BECK. She showed a good attitude when winning last time out and comes from a yard with a good record in this sphere at the track and is taken to make a winning hurdles debut.
  1. Cockley Beck
  2. Boogie Life
  3. Hermanus
