Verdict

SUTTON PLACE made light work of his task at Naas last month to extend his winning run on the back of a layoff. Fitter now, the step up in trip shouldn't inconvenience him and he looks to be going places. With more progress likely, he's fancied to make it five wins from six starts in his career. Renneti enjoyed a good Flat campaign and lost little caste in finishing second to Jezki on his return to hurdling. He is the choice of the champion jockey from two Closutton entries so must be respected. Supasundae was no match for Sutton Place last time but should run well while De Plotting Shed has been just shy at graded level so far but is capable of threatening the places. Thomas Hobson is perhaps the best of the remainder at this stage. 1. Sutton Place 2. Renneti 3. Supasundae
