Useful Flat performer who was well on top of a subsequent winner when opening his hurdles account at Southwell (15.8f) 27 days ago. Has to be well respected under a penalty.
Half-brother to numerous winners, including smart hurdler/very smart chaser Charbel. Shaped well when third in a decent-looking Thurles bumper on debut and looks a useful prospect for novice hurdles.
Fair ex-French hurdler. In process of running okay when falling last in a Southwell novice in July but weakened quickly there next time and again checked out tamely on his Flat debut at Chepstow.
Placed in a Fakenham bumper last October but that remains a big standout and has offered little all 4 starts on the Flat this year.
Well beaten in a pair of bumpers.
Well held in 2 bumpers last season so easy to oppose on this switch to hurdling.
Fair performer on Flat (stays 11.5f), winner twice this year and shaped as if still in good form last time. May sneak a place if taking to hurdling.

Verdict
AJERO looks a useful prospect for novice hurdles after shaping well in a strong-looking Thurles bumper in February for Thomas Mullins and he's taken to prove too strong for Leroy Leroy, who shoulders a penalty for a decisive victory at Southwell.
