Age: 6|  Weight: 9-10  |  J: D C Costello |  T: Grant Tuer|  OR: 62

Won on debut but never really went on and failed to beat a rival in his last three starts up until January 2019. Returning from a 423-day and although he was placed off 8lb higher in June 2018, he's best watched unless support is forthcoming.

Age: 7|  Weight: 9-7  |  J: Jason Hart |  T: S Lycett|  OR: 59|  D

Recent form has an uneven look, with a win at Chelmsford (1m) four starts ago followed by two poor runs and a fair second in between. Makes his Fibresand debut and others have more reliable claims.

Age: 6|  Weight: 9-6  |  J: Daniel Muscutt |  T: Alexandra Dunn|  OR: 58|  CD

Been in great form in recent weeks, winning twice here (1m/7f). Stayed on strongly in the closing stages last time and was value for more than the winning margin. Up 4lb but conditions suit and hard to knock on recent evidence.

Age: 8|  Weight: 9-5  |  J: Gemma Tutty |  T: Mrs K Tutty|  OR: 57|  CD

Five-time C&D winner who is back on his last winning mark obtained last September (beat a modest field in this grade). Ran respectably here (7f) two runs back before trailed home last, beaten 30L, last time and needs to return to his best.

Age: 5|  Weight: 9-3  |  J: K T O'Neill |  T: R Brisland|  OR: 55|  D

Landed a Chelmsford hat-trick in the spring, including off 7lb lower on the last those wins, but nothing like that level in six races since and hard to fancy on recent showings.

Age: 4|  Weight: 8-13  |  J: G Lee |  T: B Smart|  OR: 51|  CD

Recorded his only victory here last month over 1m in a weak contest and made rather heavy weather of the whole business. Unsurprisingly he hasn't managed to follow up that win; plugged on for a distant 16L third over 1m3f here last time.

Age: 9|  Weight: 8-11  |  J: Joey Haynes |  T: Chelsea Banham|  OR: 49

Second once from three starts here but career record reads 3/45. Won a moderate affair in August and wasn't beaten far at Wolverhampton two runs ago. Not the most consistent and into the veteran stage; others preferred.

Age: 6|  Weight: 8-10  |  J: Lewis Edmunds |  T: R J Price|  OR: 48|  CD

Triple AW winner, two of them over C&D. Inconsistent but showed a little more like his old form when third, beaten 3L, over C&D 11 days ago. Has each-way claims if following that up.

Age: 4|  Weight: 8-7  |  J: L Morris |  T: C N Kellett|  OR: 45

Produced one of his best runs to date at Chepstow (1m) two runs back when he was fourth of 15 with blinkers on for the first time. Couldn't back that up at Wolverhampton last time, beaten 13L, and needs to a career best to get involved.

Age: 6|  Weight: 8-7  |  J: Jane Elliott |  T: M Appleby|  OR: 45

0-11 on AW, where she has so far failed to make the frame. Needs to be much better than on her last three starts. Finished fifth most recently, beaten 3½L, but faces stiffer opposition now.

The Eagle's Nest (6/4), Palazzo (5/1), Muqarred (5/1), Medici Moon (7/1), Compass Point (7/1), Voice of A Leader (12/1), The King's Steed (12/1), Lady Carduros (20/1), Carlow Boy (33/1), Escape Clause (50/1)

Being the only runner in this race coming into it with some recent form, it's hard to oppose THE EAGLE'S NEST. Stepping back up to 1m will suit and he should land the hat-trick. Medici Moon handles these conditions well and a repeat of that will see him no far away whilst Palazzo recorded his only win over C&D and should appreciate the drop back in trip.
  1. The Eagle's Nest
