Richard Fahey on his three runners at Beverley on Thursday

Our columnist has three runners at Beverley on Thursday including a stable stalwart and two-year-old having her second start.

12.45 Beverley – Samara Bay

She never rose a gallop at Newcastle last week. I wasn’t expecting her to win but she’s capable of better than that. Hopefully this is an easier race and the experience will stand her in good stead and she shows more what she’s about.

1.15 Beverley – Paddy Power

A bit like Brian The Snail last week you’re better off asking Paddy how he’s going to run. He’s in great form at home and if it’s a going day he has a chance.

2.50 Beverley – Lexi The One

She’s still a maiden but ran some solid races last year and deserves to go and win. She tries very hard and doesn’t take a lot of getting ready so I’d hope she’ll run well.
