Report
Jason Mohammed struck a superb unbeaten 91 to lead the West Indies to a thrilling four-wicket win over Pakistan in the first one-day international at Providence.
Mohammed struck 11 fours and three sixes in his 58-ball knock and put on 50 in just 4.3 over with the hard-hitting Ashley Nurse to guide the hosts to their 309-run target.
Nurse clubbed five fours and a six in his 34 not out from 15 balls as they finished the job after earlier knocks from Kieran Powell (61) and Evin Lewis (47) had provided a solid platform.
Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez led the way with 88 for Pakistan and was given solid support with further half-centuries from Ahmed Shehzad (67) and Shoaib Malik (53) as the toursits piled up 308 for five from their 50 overs.
Nurse was the pick of the West Indies' attack with figures of four for 62.
