Sale 22-32 Exeter
Exeter emphasised their Gallagher Premiership title credentials with a crushing 32-22 win over third-placed Sale at the AJ Bell Stadium.
The Chiefs trailed 14-10 at half-time but turned on the style after the break with three tries in a devastating 13-minute spell to secure a second consecutive bonus-point win since the resumption.
The four-try victory avenged a 22-19 defeat at Sandy Park in January and demonstrated the ground that Sale, champions 14 years ago, still have to make up if they are to be considered genuine contenders once more.
They are now 14 points behind the table-toppers and could drop out of the top four if other results go against them this weekend.
Gloucester 24-33 Bristol
Semi Radradra ran the show as Bristol served further notice of their Gallagher Premiership title credentials by beating Gloucester 33-24 at Kingsholm.
The box-office Fijian centre scored a try and made two others during a first-half Bristol onslaught that saw them claim four touchdowns in 23 minutes.
Former Gloucester wing Henry Purdy, full-back Max Malins and hooker Harry Thacker also crossed to set up Bristol’s first away win over their west country rivals since 2006.
Gloucester tried to cling on through tries by prop Fraser Balmain and centre Chris Harris, while Billy Twelvetrees kicked two conversions and a penalty, before Danny Cipriani converted Stephen Varney’s late touchdown.
But Malins’ fellow Saracens loan signing Ben Earl scored early in the second period, with fly-half Callum Sheedy’s four conversions underpinning an outstanding bonus-point display.
The victory keeps Bristol in second place behind Exeter, with the league’s current dominant teams set for a mouthwatering tussle at Ashton Gate on Tuesday.
Wasps 32-17 Worcester
Worcester crumbled to an eighth consecutive defeat as Wasps overcame an 11-point deficit to win the Gallagher Premiership contest 32-17.
After last weekend’s resumption, both sides made wholesale changes. with Wasps’ reserves proving just too strong at the Ricoh Arena courtesy of a second-half rally.
Their tries came from Tom Willis, Gabriel Oghre, Tom Cruse and Alfie Barbeary, with Rob Miller kicking two penalties and three conversions.
Worcester responded with tries from Nick David and Beck Cutting. Duncan Weir converted both and added a penalty.
