Verdict

CAP DU NORD came of age over fences last season, winning a valuable handicap at Newbury on his second start before a series of fine runs in defeat in other good races. Last month's spin at Chepstow should have blown the cobwebs away and a big effort could be forthcoming with his usual cheekpieces back on. Highland Hunter is a huge player for Paul Nicholls, as is last year's winner El Presente.
