Verdict

SAMS PROFILE was third in one of the hottest maiden chases of last season. He followed that by winning a Grade 2 hurdle and should take a bit of stopping if ready to roll. The Bosses Oscar was ultimately a well-beaten second on his chase debut but his hurdle ability suggests he's sure to do better and Gordon Elliott has won the last 3 runnings of this so he's feared most ahead of Alfa Mix.
