Verdict

TEMPER TRAP was too free in an amateur riders' event last month at Pontefract where the testing conditions probably didn't help. He made it 2-3 over this C&D on his penultimate start and may well prove the answer to this tricky contest. Hot Team should be in the mix, while Hear Me Out is of interest now handicapping and The Brora Pobbles is not without hope, but Chinese Spirit is second choice.

  1. TEMPER TRAP
  2. CHINESE SPIRIT (IRE)
  3. HOT TEAM (IRE)
