Verdict

BALINABOOLA STEEL markedly bounced back to his best form under a well-judged ride on Wednesday and looks well equipped to go well once more. He isn't penalised for that victory and with a useful 7lb claimer on board, it deflates his mark to a very competitive level. My Lovely Boy was similarly a game winner last time out and has to be respected, but a 5lb hike suggests the handicapper might have his measure, while the likes of Windsor Vixen and Oliver Hardy took steps in the right directions last time, but need to find a little more on ratings to land a winning blow.
  1. Balinaboola Steel
  2. My Lovely Boy
  3. Oliver Hardy
