Verdict

A raft of these meet again after running at this track over 2m6f in mid-July. It was SCULLY'S DREAM who finished closest to the winner and he is taken to go one better and keep all his rivals at bay. The gelding seemed to benefit from a first-time hood (retained) that day and with that experience under his belt can kick on. He also won a bumper at this track back in 2017. Rueben James finished behind the selection in that race and it is not inconceivable he will reverse the placings given that was his first run since a break. Josephina has taken well to chasing and only needs to improve marginally to get involved while Pass Hymn is respected.
  1. Scully's Dream
  2. Pass Hymn
  3. Rueben James
