Forecasts

Alex D (11/8), Giorgio Vasari (3/1), Repute (7/2), Puerto De Vega (7/1), Trusted Ally (12/1), Just Awesome (25/1), Barretstown (100/1), French Company (250/1)

Verdict

ALEX D was a little disappointing on second start at the Curragh last month but there was plenty merit in his debut third at Naas in a big field. His HQ run saw him hassled for the lead in a tactical event and the third home has since gone close in a Group 3 contest here. He can get back on track at the main expense of Giorgio Vasari, the Ballydoyle inmate having also failed to build adequately on a pleasing Fairyhouse debut when only fifth over this C&D since. He should have more to come. Just Awesome is a half-brother to Sole Power and makes some appeal on paper.
  1. Alex D
