A very tricky looking Listed Coral Gala Stakes, in which stakes should be kept to the bare minimum. Identifying the probable pace-angle is perhaps the most challenging assignment, with plenty of those declared known for adopting prominent tactics, including the French racer Magny Cours who idled when scoring over a mile at Chantilly last month. SPOTIFY couldn't lay a glove on either Ghaiyyath (Dubai Millennium Stakes) or Barney Roy (Jebel Hatta) at Meydan earlier this calendar year, yet does promise to be much more competitive in this weaker race. Meanwhile, John Gosden is doubly-represented by Dubai Warrior (Rab Havlin) and Global Giant (Frankie Dettori).
