Verdict

Trainer David O'Brien appears to have found an ideal opening for his eight-year-old gelding DOUBLE WINDSOR to win for the second time over hurdles. Running well on return to action at Limerick last month, the son of Windsor Knot can take advantage of the field racing off a 5lb lower mark than his last win at Wexford a little over 12 months ago. The Gavin Cromwell-trained Jaunty Velocity can improve on a promising return to action in a 2m4f handicap at this venue last month. Fourth of 16 on latest start at Punchestown in February, My Lovely Boy and the 10-year-old Naturally Blonde, placed over C&D previously are worthy of further consideration.
  1. Double Windsor
  2. Jaunty Velocity
  3. Naturally Blond
