Bell Heather (10/3), Queen Mia (9/2), Troop (9/2), Mabo (11/2), False Id (9/1), Bea Ryan (9/1), Deolali (10/1), Kodiline (12/1), Deftera Lad (20/1), Evolutionary (20/1), Free Gift (50/1)

Verdict

A wide open handicap to finish the card off with. Bell Heather's record here entitles him to respect and Bea Ryan ought to be better than his current mark, but at a likely bigger price DEFTERA LAD might be worth a try. It basically boils down to whether he has the ability he had a couple of years ago because if he has, this mark is surely not beyond him, and there was just about enough on his final start at Kempton before the break to make you think he is still capble of winning a race of this nature. Mabo still looks ona workable mark and the yard had a good winner at Newmarket last week. He might be the danger.
  1. Deftera Lad
  2. Mabo
  3. Bea Ryan
