The eight-year-old ran well in defeat when going down by ½L to Poet's Pride over C&D last month off a 1lb lower mark and can hold off the attentions of stablemate Billyfairplay who went down by the shortest of margins at this venue over 6f earlier this month. The solid and consistent Lapilli can once again go well for connections while C&D winners Pegasus Bridge and Tynamite appear more than capable of hitting the frame.
