Verdict

Two-time course winner in the last two years, MASALAI can get the better of his rivals in this contest from the bottom of the weights. The six-year-old is a winner over C&D on two occasions from 10 starts and can get a decent pull into the race from January C&D winner Parkers Hill and the Denis Hogan-trained Atlas who are both drawn nearby. Tony The Gent , Bucky Larson and Nordic Passage can once again be expected to be on the premises at the business end of proceedings. C&D winner Latchet appears a lively one at a big price.
