Verdict

Cases can be made for a handful in this contest but preference is for the mildly unexposed SWANSDOWN, who has seemed to have turned a new leaf on this type of surface recently. His trainer knows how to handle a progressive horse and he could be inclined to go that way once again. Roller was a ready winner last time out and looks to have been rejuvenated, however the handicapper is taking no chances with his 7lb hike, while the likes of J'ouvert and Choral Music are leniently treated and could go close on their best form.
  1. Swansdown
  2. J'ouvert
  3. Choral Music
