Verdict

A wide open contest where the tough and genuine BILLYFAIRPLAY is taken to land the spoils on return to action. The Dark Angel gelding has gone well on a couple of occasions previously when coming back from a break of 99 days or more. The five-year-old was in good form around here last winter and can return to winning ways at the expense of C&D winner Sevenleft who was last seen on the beach at Laytown in September and Tennessee Wildcat on his first start for new connections since leaving the Adrian McGuinness yard. Trainer Denis Hogan saddles three in the race for owner James McAuley. All should be noted in the betting as post time approaches.
  1. Billyfairplay
  2. Sevenleft
  3. Tennessee Wildcat
