Verdict

Despite a draw in the 13 stall, the Charles O'Brien-trained POWER DRIVE can get across to lead all the way as the four-year-old looks to back up his win here over C&D 54 days ago. The Medicean gelding can hold off the attentions of Ar Eagla Na Heagla who can emerge as the biggest danger possibly taking advantage of the early pace. The Willie McCreery-trained Romantically and Cliara for trainer John O'Connell may befit from the pace set by the early leader while Caronda is expected to be doing all her best work at the business end of proceedings.
  1. Power Drive
  2. Ar Eagla Na Heagla
  3. Cliara
