Verdict

Since the turn of the century Aidan O'Brien has saddled no less than 14 winners of this contest including Japan in the race 12 months ago. The trainer has three representatives in the contest with the Galileo colt, INNISFREE appearing to be the pick of them. The youngster can build on his neck win over Shekhem at the Galway festival in July and land a sixth win in the race in nine years for his sire. Stablemate, Cormorant is likely to be better than his last run suggests, while the Ger Lyons-trained, Camorra looks an interesting prospect.
