Verdict

The standard shown so far is modest, but a couple of these, notably IMHOTEP are open to plenty of improvement, and Roger Charlton's superbly-bred gelding ought to take the beating after showing promise on his belated debut at Kempton. Hellovasinger was behind the selection there, but has place claims himself, although Fututistic was fancied for a similar contest on debut, and is clearly though capable of much better than he could show on that occasion.
  1. Imhotep
  2. Futuristic
  3. Hellovasinger
