Verdict

It is hard to get too excited about a 28-race maiden but DUKE'S GIRL ran one her better races last time out at Perth when finishing in the money and is able to race here off a 10lb lower mark. Another who is racing off a favourable handicap mark is Celtic Monarch who won a race at Uttoxeter last season off a 10lb higher mark. Excitement for his chances are tempered by the fact he has a long absence to overcome. There should be plenty of interest in Walking On Glass who made a very pleasing handicap debut at Tramore recently, doing his best work in the closing stages and races here off the same mark.
  1. Duke's Girl
  2. Walking On Glass
  3. Celtic Monarch
