Verdict

This is a competitive handicap in which it seems best to stick with the less exposed sorts, namely SIR MAGNUM of whom slight preference is given to after he banished the memory of his disappointing handicap debut to finish second at Windsor last month. He still has a great deal more to offer at this level, and after just the five starts can finally notch his first victory. The claims of Effernock Fizz are there for all to see after the filly backed up her recent hurdles victory with a win on the level. She is likely to prove the biggest danger to the selection ahead of Misu Pete who won off a reduced turf mark when last seen and competes off a 10lb lower mark on the AW.
  1. Sir Magnum
  2. Effernock Fizz
  3. Misu Pete
