Verdict

A race usually won by a Group 1 performer in-waiting and JALMOUD wasn't beaten far by a proven Group 1 performer in France last time out; with the potential of more progress to come, Charlie Appleby's colt could be hard to beat. Spanish Mission warrants plenty of respect having beaten the course record at Newmarket last time out and Constantinople is an improving sort who should go well, though both these runners are forced to carry Group 3 win penalties. Cap Francis isn't ruled out and looks sure to benefit from this longer trip.
  1. Jalmoud
  2. Spanish Mission
  3. Constantinople
