Verdict

SPARGROVE almost broke his maiden last time at Chelmsford on the AW where he was denied by a neck into second place. He didn't get a clear run inside the closing stages which ultimately cost him success. He is worth sticking with here to gain compensation on that near miss. Robeam looks capable of more now after he got his nose in front for the first time and should be in contention in this contest despite his 3lb rise up the weights, while Trouble Shooter is interesting on his step in trip and must not be ignored.
