Verdict

A small-field affair to kick off proceedings which can be fought out between the pair with the standout form on offer in the shape of SUBJECTIVIST and Mass Media. The former is given the nod, as he has been unlucky to bump into two potentially above-average colts at Haydock. He should prove a tough nut to crack from the front if handling the AW. If the selection doesn’t take to this surface, then the latter can pick up the pieces as he has shown he possesses more than enough ability to pick up a race of this nature. The newcomer Lost In Time is another name to note, given that he is quite well-bred and this isn’t the most competitive race in the world.
