Verdict

Hamilton 1-2 Ghalib and Sputnik Planum are interesting for different reasons, with the latter's trainer having won this race twice in recent years, and they deserve respect, as does Haydock third Pioneering, who did too much in front on his debut for Roger Fell. No such excuses are needed for ARCHIE PERKINS, however, and Nigel Tinkler's thriving handicapper can make it four wins from his last eight runs.
  1. Archie Perkins
  2. Sputnik Planum
  3. Ghalib
