Ascot Day (9/4), And The New (5/2), Kingfast (8/1), The Lords Walk (9/1), General Brook (14/1), Amangiri (14/1), Sellingallthetime (16/1), Sunshineandbubbles (16/1), Star Of Athena (16/1), Sigrid Nansen (18/1), Boycie (20/1), Rosie Royale (25/1), Street Jester (28/1), Khismet (33/1), Woggle (33/1), Mouchee (66/1), Atlantic King (66/1)

Verdict

A modest start to the card but AND THE NEW may be thrown for his Flat handicap debut off a mark of 65 (rated 132 over hurdles) and that makes his mark of 65 look rather lenient after he was given a sighter over C&D last time in a novice. C&D winner Ascot Day is one of the main dangers having run a respectable third last time in a better grade than this; he will appreciate the return to this grade. General Brook and Sigrid Nansen are both reliable sorts at this level with the former looking interesting back on his last winning mark. Kingfast is rated the other main protagonist after his last two runs have shown him in good form with a return to this trip a bonus.
  1. And The New
  2. Kingfast
  3. Ascot Day
