Verdict

There was a lot to like in AL MESSILA's runner-up effort at Newmarket eight days ago, as she showed a pleasing attitude in the closing stages. Richard Hannon's filly runs from the same mark now and may be able to go one better. Pennywhistle looked a shade unfortunate on reappearance at Chelmsford as she did all her best work late on, going down a neck in the end. There should be more to come and she's a big threat to all now. Desirous and Tronada lack a run but are likely improvers this year while Sweet Poem could cling to place money if leading.
  1. Al Messila
  2. Pennywhistle
  3. Desirous
