Verdict

A chance here is taken on Irish raider THE MCGREGORNATOR who won off a mark of 77 in 2017 and has only run six times on the flat since to earn this 21lb lower mark. His hurdles form of late has been weak but one suspects he doesn't stay well enough there so this very different test could see his form rekindled. Nobody could begrudge Great Colaci a win after him being a model of consistency without success in 2018. False Id is always respected in such contests on this surface and is another expected to go close.
  1. The Mcgregornator
  2. Great Colaci
  3. False Id
