Verdict

All that glitters isn't necessarily gold, and there are reasons to take on the very well treated recent course winner Zabeel Star. He fair bolted up for Dale Irving on the outer hurdles course last week, and without a penalty (due an 11lb rise) this race was always going to be an obvious target. However, this inner hurdles course is completely different, and although sharp in nature, the McLintock-trained runner still has an extra two furlongs to cover. Alternatives include the unexposed Spin The Coin, the reasonably treated Glingerside, and the Rose Dobbin-trained PERMISSION GRANTED who took a sizeable step forward at Kelso (form linked with Samtu).
  1. Permission Granted
  2. Glingerside
  3. Zabeel Star
