Verdict

CHAPARRAL DREAM, back on turf, can land the spoils in the closing contest here for trainer Adrian McGuinness. The three-year-old has been running well in defeat in a number of efforts over the summer including here over 1m last month when second of 15 off a 1lb lower mark. The biggest threat may come from the veteran, Dinkum Diamond who doesn't appear to have lost any of his old spark, while Aunty Audrey goes well round here with a win and a couple of place positions to her name. The reserves, Bercasa and Misty Millie will make the race a whole different proposition if making the line-up.
  1. Chaparral Dream
  2. Dinkum Diamond
  3. Aunty Audrey
