Verdict

MORETTI ran well on his first two starts for Les Eyre, and was eased after his rider's stirrup-leather broke last time, so is easily forgiven that run. He has a chance to dominate here, and may offer value against more obvious rivals like Gas Monkey, who returns from a break having caught the eye at Nottingham, and Debatable, who has yet to build on the promise of her second to the highly regarded Collide at Hamilton, but remains low-mileage and likely to do better. Cottingham fared best of the hold-up horses at Bath last time, and completes the shortlist.
  1. Moretti
  2. Gas Monkey
  3. Debatable
