Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this last year with recent St Leger winner Kew Gardens and his two prospects in this look like fascinating contenders. Preference is for the son of Australia, SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE after a solid effort in Group 2 class last time and with the emphasis on stamina here, he could be hard to beat. The less exposed stablemate Norway is an obvious threat while Waldstern is expected to leave a below par effort at Haydock behind here.
